Rescuing Amy

Last week sometime, Amy be frustrated, call Nicole. I hear traffic, Amy in ditch McDonough, gas tank ran out gas. Nicole drive in Gas station, find gas pump, take gas can. Police car slow down, find, park. Knock car, turn, dump, close up, leave about time our van. A lot traffic, hard, scary, stinky, slow. Beep beep, transportation, ramp. Nicole Philip rescue Amy alone, old car, late afternoon.

New Physical Therapist

Yesterday I did not work with Philip but when I came to his house today, I found something that he had written while I was gone. He has a new physical therapist named Daniel that came to do a session with him. This is what he wrote:

Daniel come work on me. Work on legs, arms, back, hands, feet. Not funny hold back fall. He laugh yes. Matt, Nicole watch. I laugh drool accident. When will come again

I thought he did such a great job with this!

Charlotte's Web Chapter 6 Summary

Recently, we have been reading "Charlotte's Web" together. Today we read Chapter 6 "Summer Days" where the goslings arrive. I had Philip write a summarizing sentence. Here it is:

Wheelchair repairman Rick ride get drive knock. I read a list parts. Work the seat. I was chilling, laugh crazy new free fun. Before 3:00 wheelchair flat, broken, pointy. After in seat comfortable.

Monday, November 1st

Today morning and afternoon I was up in kitchen. Dad take me and drive the van Loganville Dad's office. Dad and Philip ride at gas station, forward, backward beside gas pump. Leave drive find count deposit at bank parking lot. Dad drive new crazy easy offroad tractor forklift.

Last Weekend

10/10/10 was Grandma's birthday.

I work vacuum use Max smell clean.

Mom drive Kroger. Give cashier card pay spend order buy birthday cake.

Dad kill spider. Pop! I Laugh.

Dad Mom wrap enchiladas, cook green beans; pig out, burp drink.

This week, Philip has Spirit Week at his school. This is what he wrote about today's events:

Wednesday Melorie car broken figure call scream send text tell Philip. Nicole drive ride van rescue meet Melorie. Tow truck driver ride take get move tow car leave. Melorie get take bumpy pointy furry parts. Matt Melorie find plugged in jumper cables in vehicle. Beep beep! Transportation GPS. Battery zap Matt. Melorie sit seat, light round. Wait train tow truck van traffic.

Pizza Delivery Man Runs out of Gas at Philip's House

Mom order pizza. Delivery man car gas tank empty, surprise accident. Transportation awful frustrated ugly delivery man. It was small ugly messy furry bumpy long hair. Dressed up ugly. Front car open messy ugly. Dad talk call, back up Jeep, deposit gas can Kroger gas station, easy slow boring crazy transportation. Man was embarrassed awful mad mean. Surprise Dad rescue go take drive. Man was thankful tired happy.

Vacation!

Tomorrow Mom, Dad, Philip we go to Maryland. Road Maryland ride van. Work use brakes lights wipers. Make McDonough road open slow. I want to go have pants, shorts, shirt, shoes, sandals, socks. Use GPS. We are to see family – Grandma Phyllis. Mom Dad Philip ride to see beach . Forward far from home 70 Mph.

The Great Flat Tire Adventure

The Great Golf Cart Escapade

Nicole was drive golf cart outside yard. The golfcart drive, slow down, stop. It was bumpy, flat, broken. Quality, blue, red, black, white. Nicole turn off golfcart from out find charger. Very funny crazy. Old stinky hard charger, battery. Nicole cut nails, think, call Dad. Abby so silly. I imagine concentrate know like figure plan fix oil tools carve.

The Gravel Song

Last week, Philip was on Spring Break. One day, I brought my guitar with me, and we wrote another song together. It's to the tune of "In My Life" by the Beatles:

Last week Dad ordered gravel
To be delivered in our backyard
He wants to make a pathway
From the driveway down to the shed
The dump truck showed up in our driveway
And backed up to dump its load
I heard him put on the backup beeper
I was so excited I thought I might explode

Now we have a mound of gravel
Sitting out there in our backyard
And I keep on asking Dad
To rent a machine to move it around
I really want him to rent a bobcat
Or backhoe or tractor
or something that we can ride together
Whatever it is, it will be fun.

First Day of Spring Break; Flagger Training

I was at Loganville Dad's office. Friday Dad figure I like flagger training. Wear handsome neon reflecting beautiful vest, hat. Like hang out with Dad coworkers.

Today, we read Chapter 4 and 5 in "The Sign of the Beaver." Here's what Philip wrote about it:

Matt dinner smell. Bear sit make messy kitchen.

Yes, unfortunately, Matt did not lock his front door, and a bear got in and stole his food, and made a big mess. Now he has to depend on his fishing abilities to get all his food.

Today Philip and I read more in "The Sign of the Beaver." In chapter 3, Matt has a visitor. Here is what Philip wrote about it:

We have started reading "The Sign of the Beaver" by Elizabeth George Speare. Here is what Philip has written about the book:
