World's Longest Hair

This morning Philip, Melia and Claire made a MadLib together from the Guiness World Records MadLib book. Here it is:

The Longest Hair.

The worlds longest documented hair belonged to Billy Crystal a farmer from France. On Nov. 21, 1997, his hair was unraveled and it was officially measured at 16 feet, 11 in. long. He stopped smelling his hair in 1929 at the age of 12. As a tribal medicine man, he believed his long peanut butter held the key to his dirty powers. He said he once fell sick after smelling his hair and vowed never to cut it again. Following in his footsteps, his brother, Brad Pitt, also grew his hair reaching a length of 16 feet 2 in. The brothers would wash their hair annually with Kool-Aid and wear it wound up on top of their eyes. Isn't that dry?

Philip's Lowe's Essay

For the last few weeks, Philip has been working on writing an essay for a writing contest for AAC users, sponsored by Dynavox. He was having a hard time deciding what to write about, so I suggested Lowe's.

( Surprise!) Philip worked really hard on this essay and did a great job. The words in bold are his - I filled in a few things here and there and my words are in regular font. Didn't he do an AWESOME job?!

( We took a copy of it to Lowe's last week and one of his employee friends posted it in the break-room. Now, Philip is more famous than ever at Lowe's. )

I like going to Lowe’s. It is Cool. I go to the store with Claire. When we come in the store, we have a routine. First, I hear beep beep. I see forklift.

Do you know people at Lowe’s? I see friends at Lowe’s.

I want see gift mom happy mothers day! Love you mom.

I want to be a Forklift spotter. I see forklift right in up beside backward.

Chris and Gyah and Michael work on the forklift beep beep. Chris works in the Garden Center. I go to the Building materials. It is Gyah. He has Forklift. I like Michael. He works in flooring. I don’t like waiting to see Michael.
