Visit from the Steidls

Last week, the Steidl family came to visit the Hornicks. Here's what Philip wrote about the time:

Family people had to visit late overnight, morning, afternoon. In wheelchair van blue silver vehicle,  about far down to destination Florida. 

Wisdom Teeth Appointment!

Late last week I  had mouth surgery.  At 2:00, beside oral surgeon kind of less fun, exciting, interesting, a little delayed. I had anesthesia.  Dentist remove my teeth. After, very sleepy, used to be not feeling good. The beginning to end, I change mind: thankful, silly, serious, funny, hard.  I hope I never have surgery, bandage ahead me. Oral surgeon doctor dressed up glasses, gloves, face mask because that mouth blood skin teeth blood skin.

Thanksgiving Trip to Maryland

Planning oral surgery

This Wednesday late, this Michelle drive Philip, ride went meet Mom, arrive at dentist oral surgeon office. Talk dentist my teeth, discuss, ask, plan surgery, clean open mouth, remove my teeth. Can't sit, lay, move, can't feel, sleep, standing, move. I figure have to have shot, needles, anesthesia.

  

Looking forward to this weekend

Philip, Mom, Dad want move, take off, avoid Atlanta stop and go traffic, ride, arrive Chattanooga. Mom use gas station receive, put gas in Dodge Caravan crew transportation. Dad stops better stop and go traffic than Mom, Dad think figures need some help directions. Pay nothing toll road,

Mom, you always sit there, next to Dad.

153 miles from McDonough to destination, Chattanooga, Tennessee.

 Stop at van accessible parking signs, crosswalk, parking garage there at hotel suite.

Philip's Hotel Review - Cartersville Trip

Mom Dad Philip went hotel - Fairfield Inn and Suites, Cartersville. Park, work inspect room, make sure is clean. Mom going to front desk, Maid had not cleaned, taken care of bathroom - broken door, smaller, messed up, covered in dust, fingerprints, stinky. Lobby front desk clerk  troubleshoot, transfer other suite, upgrade, better, bigger, closer elevator, wider, opposite side construction zone, same building. Pool outside front door.

Emma

Emma work takes care of Grandma Louise, Philip. She open vehicle, move Grandma Louise come up out wheelchair to car, a lot afternoon hours. 

Morning, Emma vehicle brake, leave, slow down, she turn into nurse. Come inside next to us, takes care of everyone. Every day travel drive, park street, arrive here at Philip front door with open soap, shampoo, toothpaste, floss. Every time on time.  Clean fridge, fan, stove, dishwasher, microwave, dryer, toilet.  I see her cellphone very little,  from none to a little, down behind left out inside vehicle. She was going to become cook, bake, drink, barbeque, bake pig out, hunt, barbeque, bake.
